Motorist Dies in Fall From Mountain Road
A Westminster man was killed after he lost control of his car, swerved off a road and fell 150 feet down a mountainside in a remote area of the Antelope Valley on Saturday, the California Highway Patrol said.
The 28-year-old man, whose name was not released, was driving on Big Pines Road 1 1/2 miles west of Angeles Crest Road when he lost control of his car on a curve, Sgt. Walter Rogers said.
