CAMARILLO : Agencies to Pay for Freeway Ramps
City, county and state agencies will spend more than $3 million this fall adding two ramps to the Ventura Freeway in Camarillo.
Construction near Santa Rosa Road should begin by September and be completed by early 1992, Russell Snyder, a spokesman for Caltrans said. Workers will widen the overcrossing from two lanes to four and add on- and off-ramps, Snyder said.
The city of Camarillo will pay about $2.6 million toward the project, and Caltrans will contribute $380,000. The city of Oxnard and Ventura County will also contribute funds.
