* Angeline Lieber; UCLA Hostess to Exchange Students
Angeline Lieber, 82, the UCLA representative for the World Students Associates who, with her husband, Louis, hosted dozens of exchange students from around the world during the 1950s and ‘60s. She also was president of the West Los Angeles Women’s Lawyers Club and a vice president of the Assistance League Junior Auxiliary. She maintained close ties over the years with her former student guests, visiting them regularly in Greece, India, Egypt and Germany. She also was active with the Indian community in Los Angeles, and owned an extensive collection of Indian costumes and jewelry. In Menlo Park, Calif., on May 20 of respiratory complications.
