FREEWAY REPAIRS

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

* Artesia and Cerritos: Westbound No. 5 lane from Pioneer Boulevard to the San Gabriel River Freeway (605), plus the Pioneer Boulevard on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

* Bellflower: Eastbound No. 4, 5 and 6 lanes from Bellflower Boulevard to the San Gabriel River Freeway (605), the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91) connector to the northbound and southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605), plus the Bellflower Boulevard on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

* Los Angeles: Northbound on-ramp at Rosecrans Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; core sampling.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

* Bell: Northbound off-ramp at Atlantic Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday; landscaping.

* Bell: Southbound on-ramp at Florence Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

* East Los Angeles: Southbound on-ramp at Olympic Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday; guardrail repair.

* East Los Angeles: Southbound off-ramps at Whittier and Olympic boulevards; 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday; guardrail and attenuator repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

* Carson: Southbound No. 5 lane at the Avalon Boulevard off-ramp; 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; landscaping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER

FREEWAY (605)

* Cerritos: Northbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes from the Artesia Freeway (91) junction to Alondra Boulevard, and the Alondra Boulevard off-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

* Commerce: Southbound on-ramp at Washington Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; road repair.

* Norwalk: Northbound and southbound No. 4 lanes from Orr & Day Road to Imperial Highway, plus the Imperial Highway off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

* Downey, Norwalk and Santa Fe Springs: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Lakewood Boulevard to Artesia Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; sweeping.

* Downey and Commerce: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Lakewood Boulevard to Indiana Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; sweeping.
