Bacharach Should Stop New Building Projects

Jacki Bacharach, Rancho Palos Verdes Councilwoman, should be recalled because she is not representing the Rancho Palos Verdes citizens. She is listening to the developers instead. Our city has several building projects in the planning phases of development:

Kajima on Crest Road near Monaco Drive--76 requested home sites.

Marafuji at the bottom of Hawthorne Boulevard, on the ocean side next to the Interpretive Center--96-unit residential development.

Northrop land will probably be sold for residences. Even though this project is not in Rancho Palos Verdes, it will impact the traffic pattern of our city.

Anyone who drives by Palos Verdes Drive North to Los Angeles has experienced gridlock.

I still remember how Bacharach promoted the Golden Cove condominiums, an eyesore right on City Hall’s doorstep. We need a councilman who will be an advocate to lower the number of units of any future development. Bacharach has always voted for the highest density. Let’s protect our city and recall Bacharach from Rancho Palos Verdes City Council before more harm is done.
