Share

A bank robber escaped with $10,000 Friday after pointing a gun at two tellers and demanding that they fill his bag with all their money, police said.

The robber entered Union Bank at 8899 Adams Ave. about 3 p.m., walked to the front of a teller line, drew a handgun and ordered the teller to give him her money, Police Lt. Jeff Cope said.

“He then walks up to the next teller and does the same thing, and after getting his bag back full of loot, he departed out of the front door,” Cope said.
