FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Westbound No. 4 lane from Bellflower Boulevard to Downey Avenue, plus the Bellflower Boulevard on-ramp, Clark Avenue off-ramp, Lakewood Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp, and Downey Avenue off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday; marker repair.

2. Carson: Westbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Santa Fe Avenue to Avalon Boulevard, plus the Acacia Avenue on-ramp, Wilmington Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, Central Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, and Avalon Boulevard off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday; bridge repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

3. Bell: Northbound No. 1 lane from Slauson Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; jersey wall repair.

4. Commerce: Southbound No. 1 lane from Washington Boulevard to Atlantic Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; jersey wall repair.

5. Long Beach: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes from Wardlow Road to Del Amo Boulevard, plus the Wardlow Road on-ramp and Del Amo Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

6. Long Beach: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from the San Diego Freeway junction to Long Beach Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; marker repair.

7. South Gate: Northbound No. 4 lane from Imperial Highway to Firestone Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; marker repair.

8. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Humphreys Avenue to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

9. Industry: Eastbound No. 1 lane from the San Gabriel River Freeway (605) junction to Crossroads Parkway; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; drain cleaning.

10. Industry: Eastbound No. 1 lane from Crossroads Parkway to 7th Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; drain cleaning.

11. Montebello: Westbound on-ramp at Paramount Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; drain cleaning.

12. Monterey Park: Eastbound No. 1 lane from the Long Beach Freeway (710) junction to Wilcox Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; drain cleaning.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

13. Long Beach: Northbound No. 5 and 6 lanes from Long Beach Boulevard to the Long Beach Freeway (710), the northbound San Diego Freeway (405) connector to the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710), and the Long Beach Boulevard and Pacific Avenue on-ramps; 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; marker repair.

14. Long Beach: Northbound No. 4 lane at Spring Street; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; pump repair.

15. Long Beach: Southbound No. 5 and 6 lanes from Alameda Street to the Long Beach Freeway (710), the southbound San Diego Freeway (405) connector to the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710), the Alameda Street on-ramp and Santa Fe Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

16. La Mirada: Northbound No. 4 lane from Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

17. Norwalk: Southbound No. 3 lane from Norwalk Boulevard to Firestone Boulevard, plus the Norwalk Boulevard on-ramp; 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)
