Angels Send Down Amaro, Call Up Rose

The Angels optioned outfielder Ruben Amaro to triple A-Edmonton and recalled infielder Bobby Rose from the Trappers after Monday’s game. The moves are effective today.

Amaro, who was called up June 4 from Edmonton, appeared in one game as a pinch-runner. Rose hit .304 for the Trappers in 34 games through June 9. He had eight doubles, two triples and 28 runs batted in.
