Local grant recipients are Bell Gardens High School in the Montebello Unified School District, Blair High and Pasadena High in Pasadena Unified, Jordan High in Long Beach Unified, Westminster High in Huntington Beach Unified, Paramount High in Paramount Unified, and Rowland (Heights) High in Rowland Unified.

State Supt. of Public Instruction Bill Honig said the schools will organize “learning experiences into career paths that lead all students either to college entrance, technical preparation courses in community college, business and industry, or directly to work.”
