La Puente : Budget Adopted by Council
The City Council adopted the 1991-92 fiscal year budget in a unanimous vote Tuesday.
The $9.4-million operating budget, which takes effect Monday, requires the city to dip into its reserves to cover an $850,000 shortfall. Finance Director Ted Abo said the city has begun studying options for increasing revenues.
One proposal under consideration involves increases in development and user fees, Abo said.
