Authorities on Wednesday released the name of a 40-year-old man who died when his trailer caught fire.
Daniel C. Bragg of Fallbrook died Monday morning from smoke inhalation, according to David Lodge, an investigator for the coroner’s office.
Bragg was found lying across a bed in the burning trailer in the 1500 block of Stage Coach Lane at 5:49 a.m., Sheriff’s Sgt. Conrad Grayson said.
The name of the victim was withheld until dental records could be obtained to make a positive identification, Grayson said.
The fire was believed to have been started when Bragg fell asleep while smoking, Grayson said.
