Added Responsibilities: Christof Perick, recently named music director designate of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, is taking on the added duties of music director of the city of Hanover, Germany. He will be responsible for all the opera and symphonic activities in Hanover, where he will spend six months each year. Perick also will continue as principal guest conductor of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Meanwhile, Iona Brown, the L.A. orchestra’s former music director, has been named principal guest director of the group.
