HAPPY FOURTH: Thousands of Orange County workers can nibble on today’s leftovers at home Friday, catch up on the soaps, clean off the barbecue. . . . Compliments of several large companies and perhaps fueled by post-Gulf War nationalism, the day after July 4th has become an unofficial holiday this year. “Our company sees July 4th as a very spirited holiday,” said Beth Brandegee, spokeswoman of Mitsubishi Electronics America Inc. in Cypress. The firm’s 600 workers are getting a four-day weekend.
