An Oxnard woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing and selling marijuana in her home, a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.

Paula Glorianna Engen, 43, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday after narcotics agents discovered 3 1/2 pounds of marijuana in her residence in the 1000 block of Canal Street, the spokesman said.

A search warrant was served after neighbors reported heavy traffic in and out of the house, authorities said. The estimated street value of the marijuana was about $10,000, authorities said.

The arrest was the culmination of a two-week investigation conducted by members of the Sheriff’s Department, the Oxnard Police Department, the Santa Paula Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.

Engen was booked in County Jail, where she remained Thursday in lieu of $10,000 bail. She is scheduled for arraignment Monday.
