Body Found in Ditch Along Freeway
The body of Jose Fernando Sepulveda, 30, of Jefferson Street in San Diego was found in a drainage ditch on California 163 early Friday afternoon, police said.
Police received an anonymous call about noon, describing the location of the body, which was found face-up in the ditch between the north- and southbound lanes of the freeway, Sgt. Mike Gibbs said.
The San Diego County medical examiner’s office said Sepulveda had been stabbed to death. Police said he had facial injuries, as well as “some trauma to his right lower side.”
