Anaheim Man Held in Shooting of Son
A 50-year-old man was arrested for shooting his son during an apparent family argument, police said Saturday.
Kwang Lee, 29, was in stable condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange with a gunshot wound to the stomach, said Anaheim Police Lt. Vince Howard.
Young Kil Lee was being held in in lieu of $250,000 bail, charged with attempted homicide.
Howard said investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting, which occurred about 7:30 p.m. Friday at an apartment at 1680 W. Tedmar Ave.
Investigators were hampered by language barriers because the family speaks only Korean.
