A Fillmore woman and three Oxnard men have been arrested on suspicion of selling cocaine after attempting to sell three kilograms to an undercover narcotics agent, a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.

Narcotics officers from the department and the California Highway Patrol arrested the suspects at a Fillmore house Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Taken into custody were Maria Vasquez, 65, resident of the house; Jesus Solorio, 30; Cutberto Celis, 38, and Magdaleno Mora, 35, all of Oxnard, Sgt. Arnie Aviles said.

Undercover officers had negotiated with Vasquez for the purchase of the cocaine and met with her and the three men in the carport at the Fillmore address, Aviles said. The cocaine was hidden in cornflakes boxes inside a car.

Police estimate the cocaine seized has a street value of $250,000.

The suspects were being held Friday in Ventura County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail each, Aviles said.
