MISSION VIEJO : Alicia Parkway to Be Renovated
Temporary road closures and detours will occur along Alicia Parkway until October under a $775,800 renovation project for the heavily traveled street.
The construction work began Monday. Crews hired by contractor R.J. Noble will work from about 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Much of the road renovation will involve the replacement of the top layer of pavement. The city will also install traffic signals and safety lighting on Alicia at Coronel Drive. Improvement of irrigation and landscaping of the medians is also scheduled during the 2 1/2-month project.
