Steve Jaros earned his first PBA title at Edmond, Okla, defeating Andy Neuer in the title match, 202-189. Jaros won $38,000 and qualified for next year’s Firestone Tournament of Champions.
Jaros’ best finish before this week came at the same event in 1989, when he placed 10th.
