ANAHEIM : Fire Damages Home; Cause Is Unknown
A fire broke out early Friday morning in the upstairs portion of a two-story house, causing $225,000 in damage, fire officials said.
It took 16 firefighters from Anaheim and Orange fire departments about 20 minutes to put out the blaze, which was reported at 8:12 a.m., Anaheim Fire Capt. Ken Anderson said.
No one was injured in the fire, Anderson said, adding that investigators had not immediately determined the cause of the blaze at 3949 Maple Tree Drive. The fire caused $200,000 in damage, Anderson estimated. An additional $25,000 in property was lost.
