Motels Not the Law’s Affair
For shame. At a time when criminal violence has made Los Angeles into a war zone, the Police Department’s primary concern seems to be what consenting adults do in the privacy of a motel room.
I refer to your Aug. 2 story “Motel Owners Say Vice Sting on Sepulveda Was Dishonest.” I would like to point out that sexual relations between consenting adults is perfectly legal. If two people wish to exchange sex and money, what business is that of the government?
Rather than wasting taxpayers’ money on such nonsense, why doesn’t the Police Department deal with real crime?
