DO OR DIE: For a die-hard football fan, what’s the next best thing to a Sunday afternoon at the stadium watching your team win? Watching it lose. With a dismal economy and a 1-2 preseason record that has shown few bright spots, the Los Angeles Rams report season ticket sales down, but only a tad below their 50,000 benchmark for success. . . . “That’s to be expected when you aren’t playing all that well,” said Rams ticket manager Don Nims. . . . Remaining season tickets are now $240 (high end zone) or $160 (low end zone.)
