Gunshot Kills Man in Logan Heights
A man in his early 20s was shot and killed in Logan Heights early Friday morning, authorities said.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:08 a.m., said John Armendariz, a county medical examiner investigator.
The victim was talking with three other men as he stood on a sidewalk near 24th Street and Imperial Avenue about 1:30 a.m., San Diego Police Lt. Dan Berglund said.
According to witnesses, a man fired a shot at the group and ran west on Commercial Avenue.
Police have no suspects.
