Costa Mesa’s Schwartz Wins Speedway Feature

Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event Friday night in the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

Scott Brant of Riverside was second, Mike Faria of Colton third and Steve Lucero of Riverside fourth.

Gary Hicks of Riverside won the eight-lap handicap main event. Josh Larsen of Balboa finished second, followed by Brant, Lucero and Phil Collins of Costa Mesa.
