PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Shell Undecided on Anderson’s Status
Coach Art Shell said he hasn’t made a decision on whether defensive back Eddie Anderson, who suffered a groin injury in last Sunday’s 47-17 season-opening loss to the Oilers at Houston, will play Sunday against Denver at the Coliseum.
“Eddie is getting better every day, but what does that mean,” Shell said. “Hopefully, he’ll be able to play.”
Bronco punt and kickoff return specialist Kevin Clark is doubtful because of a sprained left knee; guard Sean Farrell (hamstring) is questionable, but tight end Clarence Kay (knee) and center Keith Kartz (ankle) are probable.
