They return all their key skill players, including quarterback O’Brien, all-league players Barnes (548 yards in 71 carries, 12 touchdowns) and Roskelly (661 yards in 75 carries, 10 touchdowns). Wingback Korey Alexander was a second-team all-league selection last year, and twin brother Kevin is a returning starter at wide receiver. “I have a tough time telling those two apart,” Marrujo said. Phil Schuman, last year’s starting tight end, is nursing a knee injury and his status is in doubt for the season. Marrujo is counting on Williams, a three-year starter, for leadership on the offensive line along with first-time starter Parker.
