Driver Killed When Truck Hits Power Pole

A 28-year-old man was killed Saturday morning when his pickup truck ran off a road and slammed into a power pole in Sun Valley, Los Angeles police said.
Gregory Artenian of Sepulveda was driving north on San Fernando Road near Arvilla Avenue about 6:45 a.m. when the accident occurred, Sgt. Joe Cross said.
Artenian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
