Record Suit: RCA Records has been sued again for not properly crediting a studio singer’s contribution to a hit song by the dance pop act Black Box. In a federal suit filed in San Francisco, rapper Oscar (Scar) Pabon claims the record label used his vocals on the Black Box hit “Strike It Up” without crediting him. In the past year, RCA has settled similar Black Box claims filed against the company by singers Martha Wash, Loleatta Holloway and writer Dan Hartman.
