10 Injured as Jetliner Hits Turbulence on Landing

ATLANTA —
Ten people were hospitalized with minor injuries after a Delta Air Lines L-1011 jet encountered turbulence on approach to Atlanta’s Hartsfield International Airport. An airline spokesman said the plane was en route to Atlanta from Portland, Ore., when it encountered the turbulence Wednesday.
