Gehry Design for Disney Concert Hall
Architect Gehry’s design for the Walt Disney Concert Hall resembles nothing so much as a collection of “space trash” somehow corraled and brought to Earth. It seems almost inconceivable that this heap of stuff, regardless of how well it can be executed (the selection of the word executed was not a frivolous one), should ever be considered outside of Disneyland or Disney World.
Somehow, calling it the Walt Disney Concert Hall really isn’t enough. “Goofy Goes Galactic” should certainly share in the credits.
