PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Montoya Still Questionable, but He Practices With Team

Guard Max Montoya, suffering from a groin pull, went through Wednesday's practice, although the Raiders are still listing him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

"We've got to be careful with him," Coach Art Shell said. "I don't want this to be an ongoing thing. We'll be watching him the next couple of days."

Other injuries: The Raiders list Roger Craig, who has a sore left knee, as probable. For the Falcons, running backs Steve Broussard (hip) and Tracy Johnson (thigh), defensive end Mike Gann (back) and cornerback Tim McKyer (knee) are listed as probable.

How close to the vest are the Raiders playing on offense? Quarterback Jay Schroeder has thrown fewer passes, 62, than any other starting AFC quarterback. In the NFC, only Phoenix's Tom Tupa has fewer attempts with 61. . . . Anthony Smith and Greg Townsend are tied for fourth in the AFC with three sacks each. . . . The Raiders rank 21st overall on offense and defense this week.
