Oscar-winner Jack Albertson guests on The Andy Griffith Show (Sunday at 6:35 a.m. on TBS) as Bee’s wealthy cousin whom Andy discovers is not what he seems.

Fresh from its network run on ABC and NBC, the Family Channel presents repeats of the lighthearted detective series The Father Dowling Mysteries, starring Tom Bosley and Tracy Nelson. Three “Father Dowling” episodes will air today beginning with the pilot “Fatal Confessions” at noon, “Missing Body Mystery” at 2 p.m. and “Mafia Priest” at 4 p.m. The series airs regularly weeknights at 9.

The one and only The Adventures of Superman flies into action weeknights at 8:30 on Nickelodeon.

The Sherlock Holmes Mysteries (Monday at 10 p.m. on A&E;) kicks off with one of the most famous Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories, “The Hound of the Baskervilles.” Jeremy Brett and David Burke star as Holmes and Dr. Watson.

Though Andy Griffith’s NBC series Matlock didn’t make the fall schedule--it’s a midseason replacement--KCOP begins airing repeats. Starring Griffith as an ace Southern attorney (Mondays-Fridays at 2 p.m.)

Howlin’ Wolfman Jack and singer Jaye P. Morgan guest as themselves on The Odd Couple (Monday at 6 p.m. on KDOC).

On a special one-hour I Love Lucy (Saturday at 6 p.m. on KTTV), Lucy and Ricky remember when they met on a cruise ship to Cuba.

Reruns of The Prisoner (Thursday at 11 p.m. on A&E;) officially join the A&E; lineup with the very first episode “Chimes of Big Ben.”
