Briefly Noted: DIC Enterprises, best known for producing Saturday morning cartoons, has signed NBC Sports announcer Marv Albert to host a series of four “event-type” interview shows with sports celebrities to be packaged with major sports events such as the World Series. . . . Kirstie Alley of “Cheers” will lead a team in Narconon’s 12th annual Celebrity Softball Game Saturday at 1 p.m. at Birmingham High School in Van Nuys. The celebrities will be playing the “Super DJs” from KQLZ-FM “Pirate Radio.” . . . Cable News Network and Japan’s TV Asahi will open a new shared bureau in Bangkok next spring, the first relationship of its kind for both networks.
