Florida State received 56 of 59 first-place votes, an increase of eight since last week, and remained atop the Associated Press poll.
Florida State (4-0) beat Michigan, 51-31, on Saturday, dropping the Wolverines (2-1) four spots in the poll, to seventh.
Florida State received 55 of 59 first-place votes in the USA Today/CNN poll.
