Atwater Village Street Work to Limit Parking
City maintenance crews are resurfacing about 20 streets in Atwater Village this week, resulting in temporary street closures and parking restrictions in the area.
The project by the Los Angeles Public Works Department will last until Friday or the early part of next week, said Ron Ingram, co-chairman of the Citizens and Merchants Assn. of Atwater Village. The project affects a one-square-mile area bounded by Glendale Boulevard on the east, Los Feliz Boulevard on the west, Seneca Street on the north and Legion Lane on the south.
City officials have imposed temporary parking bans in the area between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., and violators will be towed, Ingram said.
