LAGUNA NIGUEL : $4.8-Million Road Contract Awarded
A $4.8-million contact has been awarded to complete Alicia Parkway in Laguna Niguel.
County supervisors awarded the contract to a Santa Ana construction firm Tuesday to complete the parkway stretch from Aliso Creek Road to Pacific Park Drive. The work is expected to be completed by next summer.
To get to Interstate 5, Laguna Niguel commuters usually use Crown Valley Parkway or La Paz Road. When the linkup is completed, the same commuters will be able to drive directly north on Alicia all the way to its on-ramp with Interstate 5, which links the southern and central parts of the county.
