Sketch of Rapist Released; Attack Lasted 6 Hours
Police on Wednesday released a composite sketch of a man who broke into a 64-year-old woman’s home this week and raped her repeatedly for six hours.
The rape occurred shortly after midnight Sunday at the victim’s home on East Greenwood Avenue, police said. The man apparently entered through a bathroom window, police spokeswoman Cindy Knapp said.
The woman told police that she was awakened by a naked man who ordered her to cooperate or be hurt. And for the next six hours he raped her repeatedly throughout her home, police said.
The victim described her attacker as Latino, in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-4, muscular, with collar length, wavy hair. He has a thin mustache and a tattoo on his upper right arm. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Keri Wilson at (213) 905-9750.
