John A. E. Bullis; Retired Professor of Ophthalmology
John A. E. Bullis, 84, president of the Los Angeles County Medical Assn. in 1965, chairman of the Congress of Medical Societies from 1965 to 1967 and a retired professor of ophthalmology at USC. A 1932 graduate of Stanford University’s medical school, Bullis, an ophthalmological surgeon, was on the staff of the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles and Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital in Newport Beach. His community service included the boards of the Salvation Army Youth Center and the Metropolitan Branch of the YMCA, both in Los Angeles. In Newport Beach on Thursday.
