PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Charger Victory Impresses Robinson

Coach John Robinson watched the San Diego Chargers’ 21-13 defeat of the Raiders on Sunday during the Rams’ bye week, and came away impressed. “If they were starting over right now, I’m sure they’d feel real good about what they were doing,” Robinson said of the Chargers (1-5), the Rams’ next opponent.

“The thing that they proved in that game is that they run a power offense that’s going to make yards against anybody. I think the Raiders are a good defense against the run. They didn’t do anything fabulous or anything, but it was steady and it was good.”
