MOORPARK : Growth Plan to Be Available for Review

Moorpark residents will have a chance beginning Friday to review a blueprint for the city’s growth. Copies of the draft amendment to the city’s General Plan, which has taken more than two years to prepare, will become available for review before public hearings on the amendment begin next month.

The amendment includes nine development proposals that would add up to 2,336 homes to the city. It also outlines possible ways to redirect traffic around the city as it grows. State law requires that the amendment be available for public review for at least 45 days before hearings begin. Copies of the document will be available at City Hall and the Moorpark Library.
