Redevelopment Leader to Take Burbank Job
Robert Tague, chief of operations for the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency, has been appointed community development director of Burbank, city officials announced Friday.
Tague, 50, will replace William Kelly, who last month announced his intention to resign, said City Manager Bud Ovrom. Tague will begin Nov. 16 and will work with Kelly for several weeks.
Ovrom said Tague was responsible for the planning, direction and administration of the redevelopment agency’s 16 redevelopment projects, three revitalization projects and five study areas. Among major projects he worked on were the Los Angeles Central Library renovation and the Convention Center expansion.
