Royal Woes: The death of comedian Redd Foxx, star of CBS’ “Royal Family,” puts the future of the Wednesday night sitcom in doubt. CBS said Monday that “Royal Family” would not air this week. Instead, CBS will air two episodes of “Teech.” On Oct. 23, the network will broadcast a World Series pregame show; “Royal Family” will return on Oct. 30. There are three unaired episodes remaining of the seven produced. Whether the show will be reorganized around co-star Della Reese remains unanswered, said a spokeswoman for the producers.
