Body Shop Employee Finds Co-Worker Slain
An employee arriving at a Glendale body shop about opening time Monday found the body of a co-worker who had been beaten to death, police said.
The body of Humberto Perez was found on the shop floor at Stan’s Paint and Body Shop, 2604 Honolulu Ave., said Glendale police Sgt. Lief Nicolaisen.
Investigators could not say what led to the killing of Perez, Nicolaisen said. “It’s not an obvious robbery or anything of that nature,” he said.
