HIV/AIDS Poster Contest Offers a Top Prize of $1,000
Novice or professional artists working in any two-dimensional medium may enter the third annual Orange County HIV/AIDS Awareness Poster Contest. The contest, organized by the Orange County chapter of the American Red Cross, is held in conjunction with this year’s World AIDS Day, Dec. 1.
A first prize of $1,000 will be awarded. Posters should reflect the World AIDS Day theme “. . . Sharing the Challenge” and depict individuals, groups and communities working together to stop HIV infection and to combat the AIDS epidemic. Winning entries may be used for HIV or AIDS education throughout Orange County. Entry deadline is Nov. 15. Information: (714) 835-5381.
