Inmate Arrested in Liquor Store Killing
San Diego police Tuesday arrested an inmate at the County Jail in Chula Vista on suspicion of murdering a Point Loma liquor store owner in August, police said.
Manuelito Manatad, 21, was arrested shortly before noon in the death of Sabah Antwan, owner of the Riviera Liquor House at 4114 W. Point Loma Blvd., said San Diego Police Officer Mark McCullough. Antwan was shot once in the head during a robbery.
Manatad was in jail for an unrelated conviction, McCullough said.
Police named a second suspect in the case, Ernesto Banares Baluyot Jr., 21.
