Police are still searching for two suspects in the fatal shooting of a 49-year-old woman who stumbled upon an armed robbery Friday at a computer store.

Kathy Lee of Garden Grove was killed by a gunman at about 10:30 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Comp USA, off the San Diego Freeway at Warner Avenue, when she came to pick up her son who worked at the store.

One suspect, Nokkuwa (Pretty Boy) Ervin, 19, of Los Angeles, was arrested by a police officer who was patrolling nearby and heard the shot.

A silver-colored BMW sped away from the scene containing two suspected of being accomplices. Police said the two had been waiting in the parking lot while Ervin allegedly handcuffed and gagged several employees, including Lee’s 18-year-old son.

Lee, an executive secretary at Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo, was shot once in the head after she parked her car in the lot and approached the building. The employees were uninjured.

Fountain Valley police have teamed with officers from Los Angeles to try to identify the other suspects since a similar robbery occurred in July at a Comp USA store in Culver City.
