A 38-year-old Rancho Penasquitos woman was killed when her car hit a signal light on Poway Road, authorities said.
Lois Ann Bilansky of the 13000 block of Salmon River Road was traveling on Poway Road near Espola Road at 9 p.m. when the sedan she was driving struck a traffic light in the middle of the street, according to a report by Penny Hammerstead, an investigator for the county medical examiner.
Bilansky was pinned inside the car and died at the scene, authorities said. There were no passengers in the car.
