Race Across America Qualifier Set for Saturday
A 508-mile qualifier for the Race Across America bicycle race will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday in Valencia, across from Magic Mountain, and is expected to finish sometime after 1 p.m. Sunday in Twentynine Palms.
The winner and riders finishing within 15% of the winning time will qualify for the Race Across America next summer.
Hugh Murphy of Yorba Linda, who finished third in this qualifier last year, will be attempting to qualify for his first Race Across America.
