Countywide : United Way Names Campaign Leaders
D. Mark Weinberg, executive vice president of Blue Cross of California, has been appointed as 1991-92 general campaign chairman for the United Way of Ventura County.
Weinberg of Camarillo is a member of the United Way board of directors, executive committee and campaign cabinet.
He also is a member of the Conejo Chamber of Commerce and the Cultural Foundation board.
Barbara Barker of Ventura and Thomas F. Bryson of Somis, who also serve on the United Way board, have been appointed campaign executive co-chairmen.
Barker, a senior manager for IBM, is a former member of Life Concepts Inc., an organization that assists the handicapped, and the Orlando Rape Center, both in Florida.
Bryson works at Southern California Edison as northern division vice president.
He has served as a board member for the Boy Scouts of America, Ventura County Council.
