New York Islanders 6, Boston 4--Bruin defenseman Stephane Quintal played and scored a goal in the loss to the Islanders at Boston after his 10-game suspension was rescinded.

Quintal had been suspended for his role in a postgame brawl with the Detroit Red Wings Saturday night, but it was later determined that so many players were involved, it was impossible to single Quintal out for the suspension.

Toronto 4, San Jose 1--Wendel Clark scored two of the Maple Leafs’ four third-period goals at Toronto as the Sharks lost their 13th game in a row.
